The communal ways are the first impression visitors have of a building and the organisation/person they are about to visit. It is important that these areas are clean, presentable and safe.

Our approach to cleaning communal ways reflects the importance of this task. Cleaning of these areas are more intensive because of the traffic through the building. Thorough cleaning protects the flooring and any other surfaces that come into contact with this footfall.

Because these areas get such a high level of wear & tear, regular cleaning is often supplemented with periodical deep cleans such as carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance, high level dusting etc. These can can be arranged on an 'as and when required' basis or as part of an agreed maintenance schedule. Whichever suits your budget, we will be pleased to provide you quotes for both.

We can also arrange the installation of barrier matting for entrance halls, washroom hygiene facilites such as air fresheners, feminine hygeine bins (sani bins), soap dispensers, toilet tissue dispensers etc. 

All of our cleaners are directly employed, fully trained, ID badged and uniformed. They clean to an agreed specification of work designed specifically for your premises. This specification is kept in a cleaning manual on site along with other essential documents.

Cleaning is predominantly undertaken outside of office hours, however, you can communicate with your cleaner through our 'Communications Book', which we provide. Your cleaner/supervisor will check this book at the start of the shift.

Rest assured every conceivable effort will be made to uphold our side of the cleaning contract.

All of our Area Managers can be contacted by mobile smart phone, or if you prefer, via land line or email which will be dealt with by our dedicated Customer Services staff based at Head Office between 0900-1700. Our Area Managers are fully supported by Customer Services as well as by our software systems and procedures. These include security vetting, ID badging, quality auditing, customer relationship management (CRM) and disaster recovery (DR).

Each cleaner is closely supported by their Area Managers who are accessible, approachable and experienced in all aspects of cleaning and team leading. Our Area Managers hold (or are undertaking) NVQ Level 2 Team Leading qualifications via Central Sussex College and are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked.

Cleaning is a labour intensive business and labour will sometimes let you down. In the case of a communal ways cleaner everyone in the building will be let down. Our operational structure offers a low contract to supervisor ratio (25-30 per Area Manager) within a small geographical area (5 x Area Managers in Sussex). If your cleaner calls in sick your Area Manager will make arrangements to cover the work.
